Bible Prophecy is simply human history written before it has happened! One third of the Bible, when written, was of people not yet born and of judgments and events that had yet to take place (Gen. 6:3; 12:1-4; 49:1; Dt. 4:27; 31:29; Jer. 25:1-14; Dan. 2:28-10:14; Ezk. 34-39; Hos. 3; Mic. 4-5; Mt. 23:13-36; 24:3-26:2; Rev. 1:19). There has never been a holy book, of any man-made religion, whether in the past or in the present, that has ever dared to predict future events or to describe people not yet born.

The fulfillment of Bible prophecy is indisputable proof that the men who wrote the Holy Scriptures were inspired by God (2 Pet. 1:19-21)! The significance and importance and relevance of Bible prophecy is such that the testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself is based upon it (Rev. 19:10b).

Bible Prophecy is given to edify and to encourage and to comfort (1 Cor. 14:3) all who are trusting solely in the finished work of Christ, by faith alone, for their salvation. Bible Prophecy is specifically given for believers (1 Cor. 14:22b). The study of Bible Prophecy should lead to a deeper spiritual life as it did for Daniel (Dan. 9:1-19).

Bible Prophecy confirms the fact that God has always told in advance what He was going to do and why He was going to do it and when He was going to do it. Those people, who in the past, chose to ignore and reject the prophecies of the Bible that were about them and their generation, were never able to avoid the consequences for doing so. It will be the same for all of the people, of our generation, who choose to ignore and reject the prophetic warnings of the Holy Scriptures that pertain to our day and age. Maranatha!!!
